BluePearl Emergency Veterinarian in Denver, North Carolina
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring full-time Emergency Veterinarians at our Lake Norman, NC (Denver Animal Emergency) location. Our hospital is a fully equipped emergency and critical care hospital serving pets in the Greater Lake Norman area including Cornelius, Mooresville, Huntersville, and North Charlotte, as well as other nearby areas including Hickory, Statesville, Gastonia, Belmont, Concord, and Salisbury.

About BluePearl, Lake Norman:
Our 5000-square-foot facility includes digital radiography, Snyder oxygen cage, ultrasound, surgery suite, isolation suite, endoscope, telemetry units and an in-house lab. We offer a collaborative work environment with on-sight management as well as an experienced ER medical director who oversees medical quality and the wellbeing of our ER clinicians. They also provide our clinicians with mentorship and are available as needed for consults. This hospital has been in operation since 2016 and still has the original medical director and practice manager. This hospital would provide a great opportunity for a clinician to be part of a growing location in the Charlotte market as we build a new 12,000 sq foot facility just down the road. We pride ourselves in offering a different kind of emergency medicine experience, where we treat clients, patients, and employees with the utmost care and compassion.

Denver, NC is a growing city that still provides a "small town" feel. It is known for its safe, quiet neighborhoods and beautiful lake views. Much of the town surrounds gorgeous Lake Norman, providing water sports, fishing, and boating. Located just 25 minutes from downtown Charlotte, NC, which is well known for its sports teams and a variety of incredible food options. Denver, NC is also just miles from the US National Whitewater center, the Mint Museum, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. When you feel like traveling a bit further you are just a few hours away from mountain hiking in the Appalachian Mountains or a drive to the beautiful beaches of NC.
What you need to excel at BluePearl :
DVM/VMD degree required.
Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
