Position OverviewThe Warehouse Technician is responsible for accurately picking and packagingequipment and supplies for shipment. Must be able to multi-task and work at afast but accurate pace. Performing job duties in a safe manner and incompliance with all safety directives and training is required every day.Responsibilities Selects and packages proper equipment and supplies as designated oncustomer orders. Performs order allocation/fulfillment, quality assurance checks andshipping/receiving duties on a rotating basis, as assigned. Checks in and properly stores all incoming freight and deliveries.Maintains proper receiving procedures and documentation. Stocks shelves and maintains inventory, as directed. Maintains awareness of safety considerations in the warehouse includinguse of pallet jack, forklift, ladders, movement of equipment, andlifting and carrying. Cleans warehouse and assists in maintaining it in a neat and organizedcondition. Ensures that equipment is stored in appropriate areas. Sweeps floors & empties trash daily; ensures proper disposal andsegregation of trash. Participates in process improvement initiatives Maintains confidentiality of employee and patient information inaccordance with company policy and HIPAA regulations.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThere are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this roleQualifications & Education Requirements One-year warehouse or related experience preferred Three years computer experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Wordpreferred Familiarity with shipping processes such as UPS Word Ship, USPS andFederal Express Shipping preferredCompetencies Self-starter Ability to work independently, and in teams, to consistently meetcommitments Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Utilizes proactive approach to issues and problem solving Attention to detail and work quality Desire and motivation to learn new skills and expand knowledge toimprove job performance and self-improvement Strives for excellence and upholds organizational standards such ascooperation and confidentiality Ability to communicate in English is requiredWork Environment:This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role may routinely useforklift, ladders, and pallet jacks. Use of standard office equipment suchas computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets is required.Physical Demands:The physical demands included here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.Must pass drug testing.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiredto hear and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. The jobrequires standing for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours per day. Therole requires the ability to bend, stoop, stretch and lift as necessary tomove product. Employees must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. Lifts in excessof 45 pounds will be assisted lifts.Travel:Very limited travel out of the area where overnight stay may be expected.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full time, hourly non-exempt position.
