LRE Water Systems Administrator II in Denver, Colorado
We're Hiring! LRE Water is looking for a full-time Systems Administrator II with at least four years of experience based out of our Denver Headquarters office. The Systems Administrator II is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and performance. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, servers, and network systems. The Systems Administrator II provides advanced technical support, monitors system health, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that meet business needs. Responsibilities Technical Advanced understanding of technology related concepts, principles, systems and processes used. Provide change management guidance. Educate all staff on how to resolve support issues in the future. Handle escalation of issues and researching/developing solutions. Identifying patterns and handle high-level problem solving. Assist with software and/or server upgrades. Supports highly available systems and trouble shoots network when slow or down. Oversee the installation and/or upgrade of server(s) where appropriate. Configure systems and applications as needed. Monitor and test fixes to ensure issues/problems have been adequately resolved. Document and communicate effectively to those impacted and provide timely updates to leaders Mentor/coach technicians to help build on their experiences. Assist with presenting new technologies to leadership for implementation and/or consideration. Help develop processes and procedures. Ensures company assets have proper cyber security software installed and troubleshoots if there are minor issues. Other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Leadership/Management Oversee the admin I and II staff. Monitor performance and timely delivery of service to internal teams. Train and evaluate staff performance with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Contribute to the development of long-term strategies goals to align with the overall goals of the organization. Analyze IT processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement at a local level. Implement new tools, technologies, or procedures to enhance efficiency. Train staff, when appropriate, on proper use of software and/or hardware where appropriate.
Financial Acumen Monitor the budget, and alert management of any unexpected potential expenses. Reviewing resource allocations and how it will impact the local department budgets.
Client Service Communicate professionally and timely with colleagues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or advanced technical certification. 4 - 6 years of experience required. Microsoft Suite and PC hardware/software experience required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Presents and expresses ideas and information clearly, concisely, and effectively orally and in wr ting. Total Compensation: The starting pay range for this position is $36 - $44/hour depending upon years of experience and education. Pay is negotiable for a higher level of experience. LRE Water reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range depending on experience. LRE Water also distributes bonuses and 401(k) contributions based on annual company profitability. Employer paid benefits increase total compensation by approximately 20%.
