Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of Radiology leadership, coordinates the daily operations of the RA department and its affiliates. As a working supervisor , collaborates with Radiology leadership to ensure maintained compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and protocols.Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of HCA HealthONE. Complies with the Supervisor Expectations . Manages supplies/inventory, productivity, and key operations to achieve budgetary targets. Collaborates in the decision-making structure and processes with the Radiology leadership team and assists in projects, financial, and growth planning. Supervises and trains employees, provides employee education, maintains employee competency-based performance, performs annual reviews, maintains current employee files, and monitors attendance/staffing of the department. Assists in the implementation and documentation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess, and improve performance outcomes for both patient and physician satisfaction, and employee engagement. Is accessible to staff on all shifts and will provide required coverage as it arises. Performs any additional duties assigned by Radiology leadership. Adheres to the iCARE Standards at all times.
What qualifications you will need:
License/Certification/Registration: BLS certification.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 5 years of experience in a radiology department setting, specific to reception area functions, authorizations, and scheduling. Medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of ICD 10 & CPT codes. 3 years supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be familiar with all RA procedures with a high degree of critical thinking skills necessary for operation.
