Our Motion Control team located in Colorado, specialize in creating advanced motion control solutions for NASA, defense, and commercial programs, and our work has played a critical role in thousands of projects spanning from conceptual design studies to flight missions, including NASA's Artemis I Mission and the Roman Space Telescope. Join us as we build a road to space Test Engineering Internship - Motion Control Team As a part of a hard-working team, you will help us meet our goals by assisting in the development of test plans and procedures; participating in the set up of dry runs of test equipment and instrumentation; conducting aerospace tests including structural, thermal, and aerodynamic tests; analyzing test data; collaborating with engineers to resolve issues during testing; assisting the documentation of test results and reports; and adopting a hands-on learning approach. During your internship experience, you can expect to: Gain exposure hands on test experience. Receive feedback from managers. Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization. Attend social gatherings.Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field with at least one quarter or semester of degree related coursework remaining after the internship concludes. Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (obtained sophomore standing). Available to work full time for 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interest in space and passion for our mission. The compensation for on-site CO applicants is $28.67 an hour. We also provide housing and relocation support.
