H&H Structural CADD Technician in Denver, Colorado

H&H is currently growing the team in our Denver Area office. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our H&H team as a Structural CADD Professional! This person would have the ability to grow and work with CADD Professionals and Engineers locally and around the country.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the plan and model production, in consultation with the Engineer for Structural Bridge and transportation infrastructure projects

  • Coordinate with CADD Managers and IT on network organization, usage, and archiving of data

  • Integrate client workspace standards and configuration locally and on the network via ProjectWise

  • Train or Coordinate training for users in the proper implementation of client standards

  • Maintain working knowledge of H&H CADD, state and client standards and coordinate with CADD Managers to troubleshoot and resolve CADD-related problems.

  • Coordinate with CADD Managers to oversee local CADD systems maintenance, including hardware, software, plotters/printers, and coordination of items needed for installation and/or upgrades

  • Remain up to date with technical advances and test new versions of CADD software

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with additional schooling in architecture, computer science or engineering (preferred)

  • Four to twelve years of relevant experience

  • Previous supervisory experience (preferred)

  • Must possess strong mathematical knowledge and skill including geometry and trigonometry as well as spatial perception and form perception

  • Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting large scale engineering plotters

  • Experience using and/or managing the current versions of the following software in a production environment:

  • CADD: ProjectWise, MicroStation (version SS10), InRoads, AutoCAD (versions 2020 and higher), Open Bridge, Open Bridge Designer, OpenRoads, CONNECT Edition, Modular Designer

  • Graphics: Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam

  • Spreadsheet: Microsoft Excel

  • Word Processing: Microsoft Word

Benefits

Salary range – $65,000 – $110,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
