A day in the life

As the Senior Technical Program Manager, IT Business Capability Engineering-Legal, you will be responsible for providing leadership, management, coordination of business/technology projects and solution implementations. The ideal candidate will be a confident natural leader with excellent communication skills and a collaborative style. Self-starters who are comfortable and experienced in a fast paced, global matrixed environment will excel in this role. The Sr. Technical Project Manager will be assigned to manage projects through the full project life cycle, leveraging varied methodologies (agile, waterfall etc.), as appropriate. This individual will perform critical project management duties, such as establishing deliverables and timelines, planning for resource needs, defining scope and success criteria, managing forecasting and budgeting, and scheduling meetings (discovery, project updates etc.). Key responsibilities include:

Manage a variety of complex initiatives that may span multiple functional areas

Lead the project/vendor team(s) by coaching and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to responsibilities and project milestones

Coordinate various work activities to ensure deliverable are timely, accurate, and handed-off appropriately.

Ensure overall quality of work products

Provide guidance to project sponsors related to overall planning, control and risk management

Own and manage the overall project communications plan and meeting structures

Detailed project planning and control to include status reporting, financial, scope and schedule monitoring, risk and issue tracking and resolutio

Building blocks for success

Required:

Minimum of 5 years' experience managing technical and business projects

Experience with project planning and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel or Project, SharePoint, etc.

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline such as Technology, Business, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience in some aspect of the commercial real estate or Legal technology.

Proven track record of succeeding on high profile, fast paced, multi-stream projects.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders, business customers, executives, and IT colleagues.

Solid experience managing projects and teams in complex global matrix organizations.

Knowledge of system integrations, data modeling and system architecture.

Adaptability to leverage varied project frameworks including Agile and Waterfall.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize competing work demands with little oversight

Hiring Salary Range of: $102,000 -$140,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate' location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
