Position Overview

Fusion, the industry-leading cloud-based software for design and manufacturing from Autodesk, is seeking a Sr. Manager of Sales for our Factory solutions, FlexSim, and Fusion Operations.

As the Sr. Manager of Sales you will report directly to the VP of Fusion Sales and will lead a global sales team tasked with driving the growth of our factory solutions. This team comprises Product Specialists, Technical Sales Reps, Business Development Reps, and Customer Success Managers. Your mission will be to maximize growth for these emerging businesses by driving new business acquisition and ensuring adoption and retention of our existing customers.

As the primary business owner for these factory solutions, you will serve as the principal point of contact for collaboration with Marketing, Product Engineering, and Industry Strategy. You will leverage field insights gathered by your team to inform and refine our business strategies, ensuring effective execution of our business plan.

Your sales team will drive new business through a blend of direct sales and overlay sales in collaboration with other Autodesk sales teams. They will be experts in our Factory solutions, guiding customers through their purchase processes and enabling other teams to represent these solutions effectively. In addition to FlexSim and Fusion Operations, you and your team will have comprehensive knowledge of the broad spectrum of Autodesk solutions that our customers can utilize to design, build, and operate factories, allowing you to present complete solutions to customer challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the sales team across North America and Europe

  • Forecast the Factory solutions new and renewal business on a weekly basis

  • Collaborate with Autodesk Worldwide Sales teams to ensure the team effectively supports their efforts to sell Factory solutions

  • Monitor adoption and renewal metrics to ensure the Customer Success team optimally utilizes resources to drive adoption, renewal, and expansion

  • Represent the “Voice of the Customer” to Product teams to align our roadmap with the needs of our prospects and customers

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure demand generation campaigns target the correct customer profiles and generate adequate leads

  • Travel to customer meetings, internal meetings, and conferences (up to 50%)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred

  • Experience managing managers

  • Self-starter with high energy and results-oriented

  • 10+ years of software sales experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $211,800 and $306,460. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
