What You'll Do:

Utilizes current assessment instruments to determine a student's skills and abilities in the areas of language, pragmatics, articulation, functional communication, voice, and fluency; provides intervention that is appropriate to the age and learning needs of each individual student. Gathers and organizes information to write educationally-based Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensures educational relevance when assessing and providing services. Follows compliance laws for meeting federal and state mandates as well as local policies in the performance of duties such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, Medicaid billing, report writing, and treatment plan/therapy log development. Communicates evaluation results at evaluation meetings and interprets assessments.

What You'll Need:

Have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License - Speech Language Pathologist. 2+ years of experience with speech language and communication assessments used for students eligible for special education. School experience preferred but not required. Augmentative and Assistive Technology experience preferred but not required. Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
