Colorado Community College System Senior Lead Full Stack Developer in Denver, Colorado

  1. Develop programming standards and methodologies. Recommend ongoing process improvements in change management, development standards, and project management methodologies. Assist Director of Applications Development in implementing methodologies.

  2. Perform performance testing and review modules and functions for performance improvements.

  3. Provide after-hours on-call support for critical development and application issues.

  4. Consult with clients and project managers to analyze business needs for specific projects.

  5. Evaluate requirements and develop and design complex programs, modules, or functions and design relational databases.

  6. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop project plans and define project tasks and resource requirements. Track project deliverables and provide direction and support to project team.

  7. Provide a key role in the day-to-day development operations in their area.

  8. Lead or co-lead development projects and supervise, manage, and evaluate team members.

  9. Work closely with the Director of Applications Development on planning for professional development and training activities.

  10. Provide guidance and coach other development team members in emerging technologies. Provide ongoing support and training to other team members in existing technology.

  11. Creation/Maintenance of documentation regarding CCCS applications and associated interfaces as required.

  12. Attendance at required meetings and in-services.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or foreign equivalent and 36 months of experience in developing and designing complex applications.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, plus 1 year of experience, in lieu of Bachelor's degree plus 3 year of experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1) Oracle Certified Professional, 2) java SE 7 programmer

TELECOMMUTER BENEFIT: Position permits remote/telework up to 80% of time

Salary: $104,749.00
