We are proud of the recognition we have received from local and national organization regarding our culture and workplace: WPS Newsroom - Awards and Recognition Role Snapshot Our Full-Time Temporary Individual Sales Representative will be engaged in various direct sales activities for our Health Insurance line of Business, primarily focused on WPS Medicare Supplement Plans, through taking and making phone calls, soliciting new business, setting appointments for sales presentations, collecting information and documenting in our CRM, and enrolling new customers. This sales role will not be engaged in cold calling new customers, these are engaged and interested parties. Support all WPS Health Insurance Sales initiatives as it relates to new business sales efforts. Project duration: August 26th, 2024 to mid to end of December 2024. Have expertise in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), internet, intranet, and standard office equipment. Enjoy educating customers on different health insurance plans and options, while using your abilities to influence and persuade. Enjoy Sales: Ensuring primary responsibility for enrolling new customers by telephone for WPS Health Insurance, as well as other products as telephone enrollment capability is rolled out. Generating new sales within assigned area of responsibility in accordance with established goals. Maintaining a high level of quality sales activity by effectively calling all assigned sales prospects and developing new prospects through referrals and other means as appropriate. Utilizing various sales tools, systems and applications to successful demonstrate the value of WPS and it's products. Supporting other sales functions as are appropriate or assigned to meet sales objectives. Maintaining thorough knowledge and awareness of policy provisions and product specifications for entire WPS Health Insurance product line. Applying detailed knowledge of competitors, including products, benefit designs, rate structures, and practices to best represent WPS in the sales process and effectively compare WPS Health Insurance plans to our top competito Enjoy Administration and Support: Maintaining prospective customer software, which provides summary of all pertinent account activity. Recording all information needed for set-up of an account and maintain history of transactions and notes for a complete file. Participating in training activities aimed at enhancing overall level of skill to meet expectations for effort as outlined for department. Creating and using narrative documents, spreadsheets, and databases in record keeping, problem-resolution, and communication. Develop proficiencies in our quoting tools and enrollment portal, phone system, and various websites and platforms. What will I gain from this role? Minimum Qualifications 1 or more years of sales experience. Associate degree in business, Communication, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience. Must hold or have the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire a valid Wisconsin Health Insurance License. (If currently living outside of WI you need to possess a valid Wisconsin Health Insurance License before hire) (WPS will sponsor this License). Ability to learn MS Dynamics and other core programs and applications. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of WPS Health Insurance products. Background in health insurance sales. Additional Information Start Date: Monday, August 26th, 2024 Tentative End Date: mid to end of December 2024. Starting Base Pay: $21.00/hour Starting salary may be negotiable based on experience with health Insurance sales.
