Visit oxy.com for moreinformation.We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill theposition of Regulatory Analyst within our Rockies Regulatory group based inDenver, CO.Job duties for the qualified candidates would include, but not be limitedto: This candidate could also work with regulatory analysts and other teamsto plan and permit future horizontal well locations (strategic planning,internal/external communication, collection of deliverables, populatingpermits, etc); ensuring compliance with permit/code/rulerequirements prior to upcoming operations; coordination with operationalteams to communicate mandatory permitting requirements; the filing ofrequired regulatory notices to various regulatory agencies/departments(substantial workload that includes flowline abandonment notices; COGCC903 flaring notices, etc...); special permitting and/or complianceassignments; extensive coordination with state and local regulatorypersonnel; and providing support to the Stakeholder Relations team, as needed.Essential Job Responsibilities:Manage all regulatory and permitting activities associated with drilling andoperations of wells for assigned teams.Drilling, completion, recompletion, plugging, well testing,injection well applications, annual testing, annual regulatory reportsProvide guidance to teams on local, state and federal permitting andoperating requirements to ensure complianceWork with Regulatory Analysts and other teams to plan and permit futurehorizontal well locations (strategic planning, internal/externalcommunication, collection of deliverables, populating permits, etc)Ensuring compliance with permit/code/rule requirements prior to upcomingoperations; coordination with operational teams to communicate mandatorypermitting requirementsSpecial permitting and/or compliance assignments; extensive coordinationwith state and local regulatory personnel; and providing support to theStakeholder Relations team, as needed.Work with various teams and business units to resolve operation andproduction-related compliance issues, including inactive well complianceDevelop business relationships with professionals at regulatory agencies toensure knowledge of the rules and complianceCoordinate preparation of enhance oil recovery filings and reports. Work withoutside consultant on tight gas filings. File tax credit applications andprovide approval information to production and revenue accountingCompiling the necessary information needed to submit COGCC Form 2 permitsafter OGDPs are approved by the Professional Commission.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of oil and gas related experience or demonstrated knowledgeof the industryMinimum of 3 years regulatory and compliance experienceStrong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and internetapplicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFlexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic, multi-task, customerservice environmentGood organization and time management skillsStrong ethics, service attitude, team playerAdditional Qualifications:Working knowledge of Landmark, Eagle Forms system, LOWISArcGISPublic speakingTraining experienceGRADE*SALARY RANGEDISCRETIONARY BONUS RANGE20$61000 -$1050000-24%21$72000 -$12
