Oracle Principal Sales Consultant in Denver, Colorado

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Actively maintain deep knowledge in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).• Present and demonstrate Oracle Supply Chain solutions• Oracle's current offerings as well as future/roadmap enhancements• Competitive offerings in Cloud Planning application and software• Case studies of reference accounts• Respond for RFI’s, RFP’s, proposals with respect to product/solution information• Understand the needs and pains of the customer and the ability to link them to Oracle solutions • Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior presentation skills in a fast-paced environment.• Create and maintain relationships with key product stakeholders like Product Marketing, Development, Strategy, Partners, etc.• Contribute to the achievement of a product/business unit sales targets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• 5 + years minimum experience in related field • Previous (Pre-Sales) demonstration experience preferred but not mandatory• Knowledge of Oracle Applications (e.g., SCM Cloud, Agile, EBS, JDE) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Self-motivated and able to work independent with short time lines.• Experience with Cloud architecture • CPIM or related professional certifications is a plus

Responsibilities

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.

  • 3+ years SaaS Cloud solution provider experienced in a selling/marketing capacity (pre-sales preferred)

  • 7+ year’s business experience with relevant application solutions (e.g., solutions such as Oracle Cloud for ERP, SCM)

  • Thorough knowledge of system and application design & knowledge of competitors.

  • Demonstrated project management and leadership skills – able to manage work across multiple opportunities at one time.

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, positioning/messaging, business value and justification, compelling/closing techniques.

  • Ability to effectively persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.

  • Travel as needed, approx. 25-50%

  • BS in Accounting/Finance, Engineering or similar degree or advanced degree desirable.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $38.85 to $85.67 per hour; from $80,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
