Liberty Latin America Manager, Tax Accounting and Reporting in Denver, Colorado

What´s The Role?

The Manager of Tax Accounting and Reporting at Liberty Latin America (LLA) will join a best-in-class tax department team managing the worldwide tax profile of our multinational company which operates in a unique tax region of the world. The Manager will report to the Director of Tax Accounting and Reporting.

How You Will Add Value?

  • Prepare & review various income tax provision calculations for the LLA corporate and subsidiary entities.

  • Collaborate with the tax departments in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and LATAM, who oversee numerous LLA subsidiary tax profiles. Support the quarterly and year-end income tax provision calculations of these operations by providing review as needed.

  • Compile quarterly and year-end income tax provision data from the worldwide group to prepare SEC and other public reporting disclosures, as well as internal presentations to CFO and Audit Committee.

  • Prepare memos describing tax technical positions within the corporate and subsidiary structure.

  • Provide support in the documentation and explanation of calculations and disclosures to the external audit team.

  • Assist in the execution of documentation and internal control obligations under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

  • Assist in managing annual UK corporate income tax return compliance, including preparing corresponding statutory tax accounts and hosting monthly meetings with UK advisor team.

  • Regularly collect and interpret tax data from across markets to build meaningful cash tax projections and provide tax liquidity updates to the tax team and executive management.

  • Assist in the jurisdictional modeling and tax strategy planning for Global Minimum Tax.

  • Assist in certain technical research projects to support both corporate-level tax planning and strategy as well as transfer pricing initiatives.

  • Complete special projects as directed by the Director of Tax Accounting and Reporting.

What Do You Need?

  • BSBA or equivalent 4-year college degree, with an accounting major, and potentially with an emphasis in tax.

  • Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.

  • 3-6 years public accounting (Big 4) and/or industry experience.

  • Experience with OneSource Income Tax software is preferred, but not required.

  • Experience with SEC reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, demanding and dynamic environment.

  • Strong written, oral, and analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and concisely articulate technical information.

  • Energetic with a strong work ethic, high personal standard of ethical conduct and ability to securely handle confidential information.

  • Willingness to travel to relevant operational sites, including international.

  • Willingness and professional ability to engage and interact with accounting, financial reporting, legal and investor relations.

Salary Range from $96,000.00USD - $120,000.00USD Annually

What Do You Need?
