Sasaki Landscape Architect, Associate in Denver, Colorado
Landscape Architect, Associate for Sasaki Associates in Denver, CO to participate in large scale and regional land planning, urban designing, urban district revitalization, new community planning, institutional and campus site planning, and landscape architectural design at various scales. Direct and develop frameworks and guidelines for landscape master plans, land planning, urban designing and site design projects. Analyze physical and environmental features of a site using GIS. Supervise and optimize the preparation of site plans, design drawings and contract documents for various types and scales of landscape architecture projects including landscape master plans, site planning, and site design projects. Create documents for permitting, and administer design presentations for public and private sector clients. Manage projects and relationships together with marketing efforts and recognize site development capacity and limitations. Conduct construction administration. Requires: Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field of study (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a landscape designer or related occupation performing landscape architecture design for large scale master plans through complex built site work. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Performing site design and detailing using AutoCAD; Performing 3-D modeling using Rhino 3D, SketchUp, Grasshopper, Revit and real-time VR rendering using Lumion and Enscape; Producing landscape architecture presentation graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; and Performing project mapping and analysis using ArcGIS.
