Ford Audio Video Installation Tech, Audio Visual in Denver, Colorado

With safety and quality workmanship as a priority, the Installation Technician installs commercial audio, video, and lighting systems as sold and to the satisfaction of the customer. The successful candidate is self-motivated and professional and is seeking long term employment. The ability to trouble-shoot basic audio, video, and control systems problems is a plus. The ability to play a musical instrument, read music or a personal interest in electronics, music, sound, lighting, video and/or security systems is preferred.

Qualifications: 2+ Years' Experience with Commercial Installation in the AV industry or Related Field Preferred Prior Experience with Commercial Construction Preferred Ability to Solder and Crimp Connectors (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, and F-CONN) Ability to Read and Interpret Construction and AV Drawings Audio DSP Platform Certification (Ex. Biamp, Clear One, Polycom) Preferred Video Processing Platform Certification (Ex. Extron, Jupiter, Christie) Preferred Control System Platform Certification (Ex. AMX, Crestron, Extron) Preferred Proficient in the use of Basic Hand and Power Tools CTS or CTS-I Certification Desired Ability to Travel Required Ability to Work at Heights, on Lifts & Ladders Required Must Possess a Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record PC Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet) Perform Installation Task in a Timely and Quality Conscious Manner Ability to Think and Work Independently and Meet Necessary Deadlines

Working Conditions: Extensive travel for weeks at a time Work in extremes in weather including hot and cold temperatures Work long hours, nights, weekends, or holidays as required Work at heights over 20 feet Work in dusty and unclean environments
