Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Description

A typical day could entail:

  • Financial Analysis: Understanding project economics, cashflows, returns, and the ability to model and understand them in Excel.

  • Data Integrity: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data by maintaining financial models, databases, and data collection processes.

  • Communication: Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including executives, in a clear and persuasive manner.

  • Collaboration: Working with multiple teams and stakeholders to move a project along efficiently.

  • Pricing Analysis: Evaluating pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions to optimize profitability while remaining competitive.

  • Data Analysis: Analyzing sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify insights that can drive sales and development strategies and decisions.

  • Reporting: Creating regular reports and dashboards that summarize sales and development data, presenting it in a clear and understandable format for management and sales teams.

  • Market Research: Conducting market research to understand customer behavior, competitive landscape, and industry trends, which can inform sales strategies.

  • Recommendations: Making data-driven recommendations to improve sales processes, product offerings, and new market entry.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelors in Finance or related degree

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience

  • Financial Modeling experience

  • 3+ years of FP&A experience

Soft Skills

  • Strong initiative

  • Outstanding communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Denver, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

Part of the energy team in Denver. 2 days in office, 3 days remote (could be in the office more for training).
