Xactly Corporation Cloud Database Architect in Denver, Colorado
Job Duties: Oversee Xactly's transition to Multi Cloud infrastructure. Design and architect cloud-based databases to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Develop and implement strategies for data migration, encompassing data transfer, transformation, and synchronization. Focus on cost-effective resource allocation and cloud database usage. Monitor and optimize cloud spending related to database services. Optimize cloud infrastructure, evaluate cloud applications and hardware, and adjust to enhance performance. Prepare detailed reports on cloud performance for management, establish and enforce best practices for cloud adoption, collaborate with various departments to address cloud privacy and resolve technical issues. Train technical teams on cloud database best practices, and guide leadership on cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or closely related field, plus 5 years of progressive experience designing, executing, and supporting cloud deployments as a Database Architect or related occupation. Experience to include: managing and tuning complex customer facing applications; developing, deploying, maintaining, and scaling relational and non-relational databases and underlying infrastructure; and using platform and product deployment and automation tools, including Terraform, Git, Docker and Kubernetes. We also require certification as an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional.
