American Family Insurance - Corporate Administrative Coordinator (Flex Home/Office) in Denver, Colorado

Supports multiple teams, or departments by assisting with project administration, creating, filing and distributing documents, coordinating meeting schedules, logistics and materials, and performing other administrative support activities. Also assists with implementing initiatives and in person meeting support.

Position Compensation Range:

$25.96 - $39.90

Pay Rate Type:

Hourly

Primary Accountabilities

• Create and maintains a filing system for reports and administrative information. Requests resources, equipment and supplies to support the state.

• Handle documents related to standard processes such as invoices and bills.

• Coordinate, schedules and sets-up of department meetings for department leadership.

• Handle seminar/conference education and associated travel arrangements for the state. Coordinates the logistics for marketing events.

• Assist with the creation, compilation and dissemination of reports.

• Attend project meetings as needed and prepares documents and follow up status reports.

• Work with the department leadership team and staff to determine their project and program documentation needs.

• Create documents such as flowcharts, e-forms, charts and graphs.

• Assist customers with any issues/concerns they might have.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.

• Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role.

• Demonstrated experience with various PC software applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Licenses

• Successfully obtain and maintain the appropriate insurance licenses in property, casualty, and life for the state of Colorado within 90 days of employment. Note: Obtaining a personal lines license does not fulfill the property and casualty license requirement.​​ Required to maintain current, active license(s) status by continuing education and meeting all state, operating and regulatory requirements.

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

• During in-person meetings and events, lifting boxes and moving tables may be required.

Working Conditions

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office location in Denver, CO 80112.
