Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant (AA) is responsible for providing administrative support to the department/team under general supervision. The AA works with all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, coordinating calendars and travel for leaders, creating/maintaining documents and files, entering data and running reports.

Essential Functions:

Replies to incoming requests and creates and/or coordinates outgoing communications. (20%) Schedules meetings, arranges travel and special event activities. (20%) Prepares presentations and documents for leaders on team. (20%) Orders and maintains supplies and equipment for the team. Prepares purchase orders and payment requests. (15%) Creates and maintains department files. (10%) Collects and maintains data and creates reports as needed. (15%)

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Work Experience: 1-3 years of related experience, which includes one year of the same type required.

Licenses: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Communicates effectively orally and in writing. Ability to effectively perform under tight deadlines Ability to work in a team environment Easily adapt to change Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
