We are a business development organization; wedrive growth for over 2MM Amazon Sellers through business intelligence,cross-selling efforts and integrated Account Management. We are successful byfocusing on aggressive growth for our Sellers' businesses.Key job responsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, acquire and grow minority-owned businesses selling onAmazon.Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of thesellers in your vertical/territory. Use these metrics to guide your work anduncover hidden areas of opportunity.Understand and utilize CRM tools to track all pertinent accountinformation and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achievequarterly quota goals.Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitiveenvironment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.Prioritize and complete additional projects while maintaining current book ofbusiness such as mentorship, competitive analysis, and sales analysis.Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of healthfor the respective territory.Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling onAmazon product.Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with the AmazonServices product set.Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products along with thefeatures and functionalities.Assist internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks and closebusiness.A day in the lifeThe Account Rep will be chartered with developing and managing a salespipeline mix of both high value and transactional accounts while executingsales strategies to assist the minority owned businesses in their growth.Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying andbuilding relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within thesenior management and executive teams of prospective accounts, along withinternal stakeholders and cross- functional teams to create and presentcompelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.About the teamAmazon's Black Business Accelerator is dedicated to helping buildsustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by enabling theirsuccess as sellers. We help Black-owned Businesses grow their business withaccess to financial support, strategic business guidance and mentorship,and marketing and promotional support.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience5+ years of experience in sales and/or business developmentExperience managing executive level relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communicationDemonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize sales funneland use data to inform decisionsDemonstrated ability to think both strategically and tacticallyAbility to prioritize in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment7+ years working in a fast paced sales role capacity, with a focus onplanning, yield and reporting preferredExperience working within a global sales organization at a major companyExperience working with Salesforce and TableauExpert in Excel, PowerPoint, G SuiteAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
