Clean Harbors Facility Technician I in Denton, Texas

Clean Harbors in Denton, TX is looking to add a Facility Technician to its established team. The Facility Technician will be responsible for warehouse and yard duties such as drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading as well as forklift operation. Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply – we will train.

Schedule: 5am-3pm First shift or 10am-8pm Second shift; need to have flexibility to work either; OT and weekends as needed

Pay: $18.50hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

  • Performs basic operations including, but not limited to, drum movement, drum opening, tank farm truck loading/unloading in compliance with DOT segregation requirements, filter press operations, and proper inventory warehousing;

  • Operates a forklift and performs warehousing duties – we will train;

  • Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements;

  • This position works both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions;

  • May work occasional Saturdays as needed;

  • Overtime required with minimal notice;

  • Looking for timely, reliable, and safety focused individuals.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc.

  • 1 plus years of related labor and computer experience

  • Ability to drive trucks within facility.

  • Forklift skills preferred.
