The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. Work involves clerical activities such as the requisition and distribution of supplies, compiling and tabulating data, checking documents for accuracy, handling and transporting documents, stock and inventory, and maintaining files. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Essential Job FunctionsAttends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance to agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned:1. Requestor for Campus Wide Nursing Department and other departments as requested. This requiresPeople Soft and MIMS applications.2. Responsible for all Medical Contract PRFand#146;s and Requisitions3. Responsible for State Credit Card for Medical and Nursing Departments4. Order and receive oxygen and processing of paperwork5. Responsible for storage and release of Bio Hazard materials6. Sterilization of equipment used in specialty clinics7. Stocks Central Supply and Infirmary on a regular basis utilizing appropriate storage techniques8. Assembles equipment on arrival and minor repairs/ maintenance of nursing equipment9. Orders and maintains enteral feeding pumps10. Organizes and follows policies and procedures for processing of paperwork to appropriate entities11. Must be able to lift heavy boxes, reach, bend, squat, push, pull, lift at least 40 lbs12. Must be able to maintain a professional attitude during high stress situations13. Maintains and is accountable for assigned property as per instructions14. Maintains required annual retraining with 100% completion rate at the end of each month15. Follows all safety practices according to DSSLC policies and procedures16.
