Process Engineer:
My client is actively searching for a Process engineer focused on improving manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a foundry.
Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze product and manufacturing methods, establish process standards, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to improve manufacturing yields.
Essential Functions:
Review product and tool designs for compliance, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
Educate process operators on procedures and implement lean manufacturing methods.
Develop rigging systems, fixtures, tooling, and gages.
Provide timely support for production floor troubleshooting.
Develop and document operating instructions to maintain process control.
Collaborate with the Quality Team to monitor metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and assist in developing work standards.
Utilize process analysis, improvement, and communication tools.
Provide data to resolve customer issues and improve foundry practices.
Utilize CAD (e.g., Creo, Solidworks) for design and modeling.
Skills/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
2-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with process capability analysis (CP/CPK).
Other Position Demands:
Desire to work on the shop floor.
Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Base pay: $75000-$90000 with full benefits including health, life and dental and a 401k match.
Pay Details: $76,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
