ACS Manufacturing is a state-of-the-art design build manufacturer of acoustical equipment enclosures, fuel tanks, turbine systems and skids. We have one of the largest facilities in the industry, nearly 300,000 square feet on 36 acres in Denison, Texas and has expanded its operation to 150,000 square feet facility in Abbeville, SC.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for day-to-day coordination and processing of a variety of Human Resources (HR) functions including, but not limited to, data entry/record keeping for payroll, maintaining personnel data, clerical duties and human resources related projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

Human Resources

Assistant

Collect time data weekly and assist with time entries and job corrections prior to payroll

Prepare and process payroll

Assist with the setting up of payroll deductions such as Federal and State Taxes, uniforms, tool and boot purchases, and unreturned ACS property

Communicate payroll details and other information to employees as directed

Prepare new hire orientation packets weekly

Assist with setting up new hires within the HCM/ERP system

Submit uniform orders for new hires and list of terminations to the uniform vendor weekly.

Prepare and maintain accurate Human Resource records, payroll files, reports, and personnel records as assigned

Process benefits for new hires and life changes to healthcare, dental, vision, and supplemental products within HCM/ERP systems

Utilize the HRIS (HCM) system for maintaining employee information

Maintain inventory of office supplies, keep organized, and submit orders to Human Resources for final approval

Make business cards for internal personnel as needed

Assist with attendance hotline call-ins and report absences to management

Organize and work independently on multiple assigned tasks/projects and complete assignments within specified deadlines. Performs other related work as required or assigned
