Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep of our facility. This candidate will handle minor maintenance issues, including fixing door knobs, repainting areas, and cleaning the facility. There is potential for upward mobility into the maintenance department based on the candidate's work ethic and interest.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and clean the facility, including sanitizing meeting rooms, bathrooms, public spaces, and work areas.

  • Perform routine inspections to check for maintenance issues.

  • Conduct minor repair work such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing door knobs and light bulbs, and minor plumbing tasks.

  • Diagnose and fix issues efficiently using basic tools.

  • Repaint and maintain the appearance of various areas within the facility.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, plumbing, janitorial work, repair, troubleshooting, and painting.

  • Mechanical inclination to use basic tools effectively.

  • Good attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.

  • Experience in conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks.

Work Environment

The work environment is a food manufacturing setting, which is 50% climate-controlled and 50% non-climate-controlled. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in various areas of the plant.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Denison, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00

-Weekly pay

-Benefits start on day 1

-1st year, PTO accrues 1.5 hours per week

-Shift differentials (1/hr for 3rd, .50/hr for 2nd)

-Very strong progression plan for pay. They have senior techs making mid 40s

-Issued 11 uniforms
