POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing the nutritional status of the inpatient/outpatient population; developing a nutritional plan of care and implementing Medical Nutrition Therapy alongside an interdisciplinary team. The Registered Dietitian will assist training and performance improvement as needed, and provide education to the community periodically.

Qualifications
BS degree in Food, Nutrition, or Dietetics required.
One-year experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting required.
Registered Dietician/Licensed Dietician registered in state of Texas; or RD eligible. AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider card showing completion of cognitive and skills evaluation in accordance with the curriculum of AHA BLS (CPR & AED) program upon hire, or within 90 days of hire date.
Good written and oral communication skills required. Typing and basic computer skills desired. Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
