Alpine Country Club Host in Demarest, New Jersey

Alpine Country Club seeks 4 temp FT Hosts from 5/01/24 to 11/30/24.

Duties: Greet and seat members and guests. Control the flow and pace of the evening service. Clothing attire should be more formal on a la carte nights and less formal on BBQ and buffet nights. Check, clean and fill all menu covers with the correct menus (priced and unpriced). Double check the menus for spelling and cleanliness. Plan accordingly to the reservation list of what members are going to seated at what tables; rotating through all stations. Ensure that the POS system is cleaned and in correct order for service. Check with the Manager or Supervisor on duty for the following days set up and begin to plan the end of the evening. Look through the reservation list for any unique requests prior to the start of an event. Be present for pre-meal line ups and go over any important reservation notes. Assures that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed. .

When seating members and guests try not to overload 1 particular section. Coordinates any special requests including dietary needs with the Executive Chef. Completes other appropriate assignments or duties made by the Food and Beverage Service Director, Food and Beverage Training Manager and the Dining Room Supervisors.

Employer will provide worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform duties assigned.

Worksite: 80 Anderson Ave, Demarest NJ 07627. $17.58/hr OT may be available at $26.37/hr. Mon-Sun; 40 hrs/wk. 8hr shifts. Must be able to work any 8hr shift within 9am to 9pm any day of the week. Shifts vary and are often split. Day off rotates.

Workers who cannot reasonably commute to their place of residence at the end of each workday may elect to utilize 3rd party housing. Employer will deduct the cost of optional housing charged by the 3rd party for workers. The cost of optional housing will be $30.00 per week.

Employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.

Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
