Cabela's Inventory Control Specialist in Delta (Tsawwassen), British Columbia
Pay Range: $17.90 - $23.40
Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity in the retail location. This is done through cycle counting both sales floor stock and backroom stock, as well as investigating variances to find root causes and adjusting inventory when necessary. Creating out of stock reports, negative on hand investigation, and other inventory checks/reports as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales floor and backroom cycle counting
Responsible for researching and making inventory adjustments as needed utilizing various systems
Responsible for the scanned-out program
Responsible for investigating the negative on hand report
Responsible for theft/empty packages and all other stock adjustments including but not limited to quantity exceeds errors and stock adjustment requests
Setting and adjusting sales floor min/max and replenishment flags
Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions when working on the Sales floor during store open hours
Perform other duties as assigned by management and the team Lead
Qualifications:
At least one year of retail experience in warehouse/inventory management
High school diploma or equivalent
Skill in operating personal computer and various software packages, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
Ability to use good judgment and logic
Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is preferred
Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset
