Job Title: Maintenance Team Member
Job Description
We are seeking energetic team players to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you will not only maintain equipment in a fast-paced Veneer Drying Facility but also focus on continuous improvement to maximize production and quality. Your duties may vary from day to day, from sweeping floors to assisting mechanical teams and troubleshooting. You will work closely with the production team, stepping in immediately when equipment malfunctions occur. Your tasks will also include preventive and planned maintenance, changing belts, and attending to our 5 dryers, which you will spend the majority of your time fixing.
Hard Skills

5 years experience as a maintenance team member
5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing facility
Experience maintaining equipment: dryers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic systems
Possession of own tools

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Environment
This role involves a 4 on 4 off schedule with an average of 42 hours per week. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 3pm for the morning shift, and 3pm - 11:30pm for the afternoon shift. You must be flexible on shift times. The work environment is busy and fast-paced. It's loud, as machines are running all day every day, and can be dusty. The team is multicultural and cohesive, with a total size of 110, including 19 in the maintenance team. The wage for this position is $47.66/hr.
