ManpowerGroup Lab Technician - 1st Shift in Delhi, Ohio
Our client, a leading provider of automotive services and supplier of premium motor oil located in Cincinnati , has a rewarding opportunity as a Lab Technician. Positions available on 1st shift.
Schedule: 7:00 am to 3:30pm for training. After training, the start time will be a few hours later and overlap with 2 nd shift.
What's the Job?
This person will be using different testing equipment to run tests on oil. It can be quite busy at times. The person will be standing for much of the work. Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
Perform all required quality control testing of raw materials received, manufactured products, and products for distribution according to specification and quality control standards. Validate site recipes for correctness and use in production
Ensure the lab equipment is in proper working order and within calibration on a daily basis. Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments as required. Assist Quality Supervisor in timely preventive maintenance as scheduled.
Collect and perform data entry for raw materials received.
The lab generally works 8-hour shifts. The time would be Monday – Friday 2nd shift 3pm -11pm and 3rd shift starts on Sunday Night –11pm-7am.
What You will Need
1-2 years of similar work experience or a college student with a science focus.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft, SAP)
Willingness to work overtime with little or no notice
