SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic and engaging Office Assistant 1 to work in the Admissions Office. SUNY Delhi prides itself on being a welcoming college community for all. The Admissions Office is dedicated to helping to provide prospective students and their families the necessary information about SUNY Delhi to make an informed decision during the college selection process. The Office Assistant 1 will work as part of the admissions team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to visitors and callers

  • Responding to email correspondence from prospective students

  • Processing/filing electronic documentation (transcripts) related to the admissions process in Slate and Extender

  • Inputting data from recruit cards, electronically filing application materials, and posting deposits

  • Preparing travel materials for Admissions Counselors

  • Scheduling visits for families and prospective students

  • Assisting with organizing all campus Admissions events, including campus visits and group visits

    Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications for the position are:

  • Must be reachable for appointment on a current permanent Civil Service eligible list for Office Assistant 1, have had previously held the permanent title of Office Assistant 1, or be eligible for transfer to this title.

  • Must have a strong attention to detail.

  • Grade: SG - 6

  • Starting Salary: $35,177

  • Schedule: Day Shift
