PURPOSE OF JOB/POSITION

  • The role of platform solution expert will be reporting into the Global Communications Data, Digital and Technology business partnering team and be acting as a direct bridge to the business.

  • Understand and analyze complex customer requirements on a global scale

  • Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of technology solutions - verbally or through written documentation - to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manages and prioritizes the day-to-day operations though understanding of impact, importance and urgency across multiple stakeholders, communication channels and country cultures

  • Evaluates business processes, requirements and areas for improvement while developing and implementing solutions independently and leverages synergies to deliver sound solutions.

  • Liaison directly with the business as well as the development team to ensure issues and requirements are recognized, understood and implemented on both sides.

  • Reliably communicates across various leadership levels of the organization while maintaining the right level of details for each group.

  • Develops into a subject matter expert for Takeda's digital communication technologies (such as our custom website management tool, SharePoint, Bitly, Politemail, Viva Engage, etc.).

  • Solves complex problems with a broad impact on the business and interprets ways of prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree IT, Business Administration or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience

  • Strong business analyst and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written English skills

  • Ability to adjust chosen wording to audience skills as needed

  • Strong IT affinity

  • Experience in presenting at business meetings

Preferred

  • Knowledge of digital communication technologies like modern SharePoint, Viva Engage, Politemail, Bitly as well as best practices for website structures.

  • Already established foundation and experience with information architecture

  • Understanding of working in a global environment with stakeholders sitting across the world
