Our client, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking a Transportation Clerk to join their team. As a Transportation Clerk, you will be part of the administrative department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Transportation Clerk
Location: Delaware, OH
Pay Range: $21.00 Hourly
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 5:00pm - 1:30am
What's the Job?
Perform various office and administrative duties, including handling accounts payable/receivable and collections.
Conduct audits of logs and trip reports, ensuring compliance with DOT reporting requirements.
Maintain files and assist with customer service interactions and driver equipment requests.
Distribute route books and interface daily with drivers to assist with coverage of vacation and overflow freight.
Track pallets and maintain accurate records of daily and weekly operations.
What's Needed?
1+ years of experience in customer service.
1+ years of experience in Logistics/DOT
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to maintain organized records and files.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
