Adecco US, Inc. Maintenance Mechanic in Delavan, Wisconsin

Overview: Are you a skilled problem solver with a passion for machinery? Adecco is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire role in Walworth County, WI. What You’ll Do:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain machinery including packaging, blow molding, injection molding, robots, and material handling equipment. Perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs; operate and maintain boilers. Conduct welding, brazing, and fabrication tasks.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Assist with EHS inspections.

  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards. Train staff on safety procedures and support safety initiatives.

  • Training & Collaboration: Train team members and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams. Manage parts and repairs with external vendors.

  • Administrative Duties: Log maintenance activities and maintain equipment records. Adapt to shift work and overtime as needed.

  • General Maintenance: Repair facility infrastructure and fabricate parts as required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: 2 to 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent. Preferred: Maintenance, machinist, millwright, or TIG welding experience or classes.

  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, including equipment lubrication, fabrication, and system maintenance. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Familiar with reading technical drawings and schematics.

  • Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards. Ability to apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) and VWI procedures. Report unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Work Habits & Communication: Independent, self-sufficient, and productive. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Adaptable to shifts and overtime; capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and working in tight spaces.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
