The Mechanical Design Engineer II is responsible for performing engineering activities to deliver custom and engineered or made to order solutions for customers. This role works closely with project team and senior engineers to ensure engineering solutions meet customer requirements, project schedule, and budget. Also, provides onsite Engineering support to housings manufacturing plant.

This position is part of Pall’s Global Process Engineering group Vessels and Housings team and will be located in Deland, Florida.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Generate designs which meets customer specifications and offers safe and reliable/robust design which is easy to manufacture/operate and maintain.

  • Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Good understanding of mechanical design principals relating to pressure vessels, hydraulic and process systems as per international standards

  • Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/ casting and sealing mechanisms​.

  • Ability to multi-task​

  • Fluent English

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or experience in a relevant discipline.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels/housings products or equivalent.

The salary range for this role is 69K to 78K . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus plan.
