As an Auto Body Repair Technician, you will perform skilled repair and restoration of vehicle bodies and frames to bring damaged vehicles back to their original condition. You will work with a variety of tools, equipment, and techniques to remove dents, replace damaged parts, refinish surfaces, and ensure vehicles are safe and aesthetically pleasing.

Responsibilities:

• Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles to assess structural and cosmetic damage, documenting findings and discussing repair options with the supervisor or customer.
• Dismantling and Reassembly: Remove damaged parts, such as fenders, panels, and bumpers, and reassemble them after repairs are complete.
• Repair Work: Straighten bent frames, fill dents, weld or replace panels, and remove any rusted areas using the correct tools and techniques.
• Paint and Finishing: Sand, prime, and paint repaired areas to ensure a smooth, color-matched finish.
• Quality Control: Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and align with customer and company quality expectations.
• Record Keeping: Document repairs and maintenance in detail, keeping accurate records of work performed, time spent, and parts used.
• Customer Interaction: Occasionally communicate with customers to provide repair updates, discuss repairs needed, and answer questions.
