It’s a great time to be a part of ZOLL!Job SummaryBased on management priorities, design and develop test processes and equipment in support of New Products introduction and the product testing of ZOLL medical products Includes: test hardware and software design, assembly, debug, documentation development and release of test equipment for use both at ZOLL Medical locations and at key supplier sites. Test equipment and test process support, on an as required basis, to ensure the needs of ZOLL production operations are attained. May provide work direction to technicians or other production test/ assembly personnel on assigned projects but no direct reportsEssential Functions

  • 15% Documentation of Test Systems & Fixtures

  • 15% Design of Test Systems & Fixtures

  • 10% Test System Debug

  • 10% Test Software Development

  • 10% Test Plan Development

  • 10% Validation Plan Development

  • 10% Production and Supplier Support

  • 10% Test Strategy & Requirements Development

  • 5% Supervision of Test Development Technicians

  • 5% Project Scheduling

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering required and

  • BSEE preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a production test and an electro-mechanical assembly environment including ICT, Functional Test and Reliability Test (HALT, HASS) development. required or

  • Experience with FDA QSR documentation requirements a preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of analog, digital and high voltage circuit design.

  • Working knowledge of software design.

  • Project management experience demonstrating the ability to meet schedule and budget targets.

  • Direct experience in the development of production test fixtures.

  • Proficient in test software development, preferably with LabView and TestStand.

  • Proficient in most common PC based applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
