Hybrid Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM Tuesday-Thursday In Office

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and communicates management reporting and tracking for the supported business functions

  • Assists with the development of periodic forecasts, annual budget, capital and long range plans.

  • Creates dynamic financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support business decisions.

  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts in the processes and tools used in planning, reporting and analysis activities.

  • Assists with preparation of Senior Management presentations.

  • Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Core Values.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookup).

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple work assignments simultaneously.

  • Works well in a team environment and demonstrates the ability to interact with various professional levels within the organization.

  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

  • Zero to One (1) years of relevant experience in finance or accounting functions, preferably in a large corporate environment.

  • Experience using database analytical tools such as Hyperion/Oracle Essbase/Toad a plus
