Provide thought partnering on long-term strategic financial plans; support and challenge the line of business in the development of budgets and forecasts by providing meaningful input and insights. Conduct ongoing review of business intelligence and data analytics to provide support, insights, and a business update for stakeholders. Proactively identify and communicate risks, opportunities, potential synergies or efficiencies that enable and drive financially disciplined decision making. Establish credibility and a strong strategic working relationship with business unit and other internal partners. Support business partners on ad hoc projects, provide financial impact analysis. Provide meaningful support to the monthly closing and forecasting process. Support the planning process as well as forecasting activities, balance budgeting simplifications with robust, fit for purpose information.

Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office per week). Must live within reasonable commuting distance.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, International Business, or related field. Requires 5 years of finance or accounting related progressive post-bachelors experience is required.

Must have some experience in each of the following skills: ERP SAP, BPC, to create stories, dashboards, and use of planning modules; Prompting data, building queryable data sources and combining queries to build financial reports, dashboards and to collect, analyze and interpret data, detect patterns, problem-solve, and make decisions based on multiple factors and variable options using Analysis For Office; Creating graphical depiction for quantitative summaries, data comparisons and financial walkthroughs using PowerPoint and Think Cells; Working with SAPGetData formulas, power queries, vlookups, macros, pivot tables, creating comprehensive graphs and tables, performing calculations and automation to process large volumes of data using Excel; Pharmaceutical industry-specific financial regulations and compliance to create scenario planning, modeling, and return on investment analysis, to validate company performance and support decision-making processes; Accounting standards (IFRS), partnership accounting, tax concepts (transfer pricing), and preparing budgets, mid-term and long-term plans using large data set modelling; and Reviewing local and global contracts, linking contracts to accounting concepts, financial measures and targets with partnership accounting.
