Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing data, translating business requirements into actionable insights, and driving data-driven decision-making processes across the organization. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be heavily involved in meetings and workshops, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather and refine data requirements, and translating them into new user stories. Additionally, you will be responsible for validating data integrity, creating advanced SQL queries, and utilizing Power BI for data visualization and reporting purposes.
Responsibilities:
Actively participate in meetings and workshops to gather, refine, and prioritize data requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories for the development team, ensuring alignment with data objectives.
Validate the integrity and accuracy of data through thorough analysis and testing procedures.
Develop and execute advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases and data sources.
Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights and key findings.
Collaborate with teams to design and implement data models, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and accuracy of data storage and retrieval.
Demonstrate strong documentation skills by documenting data processes, methodologies, and findings in a clear and organized manner.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and data governance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, SQL querying, and data visualization.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies.
Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile principles and practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Power Platform is a plus
