POSITION SUMMARY

ADM is seeking an experienced Warehouse Process Lead to join the Global Ops organization. The position will be based in Cincinnati/Erlanger KY or Decatur IL area and will report into the Plant to Deliver Global Process Owner - GPO.

The Warehouse Process Lead is a critical role leading the development, deployment, and evolution of warehouse process enablement and continuous improvement efforts for global Inventory, Warehousing, and Delivery (IWD).

This role will serve as the global process owner for the IWD workstream and manage a delivery process-focused team to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities in warehouse processes across all ADM regions to drive short and long-term strategic goals related to growth enablement, value delivery, and global process/system harmonization.

Effectively partnering with Global Operations, Global Supply Chain, Regional Supply Chain Leaders, Procurement, and Finance is key to the success of the Warehouse Process Lead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the governance and development of their sub-process across the enterprise. Collaborate with their peers to ensure effective and efficient operations. The Warehouse Process Lead identifies opportunities for process improvement and delivers change for their sub-process in alignment with the goals of the E2E process.

  • Is an expert on all levels of the IWD process and understands its end-to-end function, interactions, and dependencies with other processes

  • Define and communicate a clear vision for sub-process across the operating model

  • Support the Global Process Owner in the execution of a global strategy for an end-to-end process including associated policies and technologies

  • Assist in developing the KPIs for sub-processes

  • Monitor performance of sub-process and identifies areas for improvement

  • Review sub-process performance reports for issues and opportunities to improve performance and develop recommendations

  • Develop and operationalize any applicable reporting and analytics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned sub-process

  • Participate in process governance (as needed) to provide input on items such as process scope and assist in resolving operational issues

  • Drive and contributes to the development of future state of the end-to-end business process design at the sub-process level

  • Ensure completeness and consistency of the process design and sub-processes

  • Keeps key stakeholders informed including Executive Global Process Owners, Global Process Owners and project team members

  • Drive the rollout of the end-to-end process and sub-processes

  • Develop and translate sub-process strategy into operational goals and objectives

  • Collaborate with corporate functions, data owners/stewards, and peers to ensure consistency and alignment across policy, process, and data

  • Collaborate with the business, corporate functions, and Global Business Services to ensure resources are properly trained on process, policy, and systems.

  • Responsible for providing change champions and supers users with the training and skills to oversee, coach and train others in the proper execution of the process.

  • Enable supply chain/Operations to generate productivity savings and operational improvements by proactively partnering with regional and site leaders.

  • Build a high performing team and engaging work environment to develop and coach direct and indirect reports.

  • Operate as an expert and teacher of analytical and problem-solving concepts (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizan) to identify and manage efforts and coach warehouse teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent degree) and 7+ years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Planning. Master’s degree preferred

  • Leadership: Demonstrates visionary, dynamic, and engaged leadership with an emphasis on building high performing teams and enterprise-wide capabilities.

  • Warehouse Process Expertise: Deep expertise in, and demonstrated success implementing and driving best-in-class warehouse food distribution processes.

  • Analytical Prowess: Possess deep analytical skills with the ability to mentor others on the following topics:

  • Frameworks and tools from methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean

  • Problem-solving facets such as hypothesis development, qualitative and quantitative data gathering and use, solution development, and impact analysis.

  • Process design and improvement principles.

  • Project Management: Ability to identify optimal improvement opportunities, and scope and prioritize associated charters.

  • Catalyst for Change: Strong influencer to establish standards, ensure effective problem-solving, build internal talent capabilities, and show ROI of a continuous improvement mindset and its impact over time.

  • Relationships: Develops and maintains field and cross-functional relationships through on-site visits to identify opportunities and drive impact at all ADMs areas and regions.

Travel Requirement : Ability to travel 10-25% with some international travel (if needed)
