Are you a dynamic leader ready to drive excellence in manufacturing quality? At GE Appliances, we’re looking for a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Quality Engineering to lead our product engineering operations team and foster a high-performance quality culture. How You'll Create Possibilities

As the Sr. Manager, you’ll:

  • Lead a team of Product Engineers in optimizing quality systems, ensuring top-tier production outcomes, and minimizing the Cost of Quality (COQ).

  • Co-chair the Change Implementation Board (CIB), overseeing product quality and production changes.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Technology Managers, and Plant Managers to resolve issues and enhance profitability.

  • Establish and guide a high-energy, cross-functional Quality Engineering Team supporting manufacturing, plant quality, and supplier quality.

  • Drive process improvements and Lean initiatives to support a streamlined production system and reduce quality costs.

  • Be a key player in strategic efforts for new product introductions (NPI) and future product development.

  • Analyze data, lead projects, and provide insights to senior leadership, ensuring on-time implementation and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve plant metrics, including scrap, yield, and defective rates.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, quality, or technology.

  • Expertise in operations/manufacturing quality, particularly in appliances manufacturing processes.

  • A technical degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience leading large teams, setting strategic visions, and driving results.

  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for problem-solving and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large NPI programs.

  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering corrective actions.

  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing practices and quality leadership.
