Emerson Credit and Collection Specialist (Italian Speaking) in DEBRECEN, Hungary
The C2C (Credit to Cash) team is looking for a highly energetic individual for the role of Credit & Collection Specialist, able to fluently & assertively communicate in both Italian and English.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts – Customer calls/emails, outstanding payment reconciliations and constantly following up with customers.
Responding to internal and external customer account inquiries, supporting issue resolution related to the status of customer accounts, documenting status of collection efforts.
Ensuring that all protocols, laws, and regulations are followed to collect payments efficiently.
Investigating credit hold issues, suggesting payment options to be approved and assisting the credit decisions by providing timely and accurate information.
Establishing and maintaining effective and coordinated working relationships with external customers and other departments (AR, Credit Control, Sales & Customer Operations).
Embracing CI mentality to support standardization and simplification.
Other ad-hoc accounting duties assigned by the manager.
Who You Are: You are proficient in both Italian and English and hold a bachelor’s or master's degree in Finance (equivalent experience is also acceptable). You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You are a self-starter, motivated, organized, meticulous, independent, and versatile great teammate. It is a plus if you have working experience in a multinational environment or Shared Services team.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree (studies in Business Administration, Accounting or related field is an advantage).
Fluent written & verbal communication skills in both Italian and English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer and solution focus.
Good prioritization and organizational skills.
Logical and analytical thinking, attention to details.
Continuous improvement mentality, proactive approach.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Strong work ethics and ability to organize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Commitment to do a first-class job – accurate, timely and well documented.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree (studies in Business Administration, Accounting or related field is an advantage).
Working experience in multinational environment or Shared Services is a plus.
