ManpowerGroup Data Engineer- Analytics in Dearborn, Michigan

Job Title: Data Engineer - Analytics

Location: Dearborn, MI (hybrid 2 days per week on site)

The Data Engineer will work in collaboration to provide data services, governance, architecture, and visualization solutions for the Analytics team. This includes data ingestion and reporting for product performance, consumer digital shopping and ownership, field performance and modeling solutions for marketing and executive reporting.

What’s the Job?

  • Data wrangling and ingestion of data sources from multiple parties into analytics platforms such as a DMP or Data Lake environment

  • Devise business rules for data acceptance, translation and mapping

  • Transform data feeds into reliable and easily updatable data extracts for use in reporting and modeling

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and upgrade reports leveraging analytics tools

  • Identify data relationships and develop solutions in various data blending tools

  • Identify and supply proper data sets, write required rules and extract data sets for use by team members and partners

  • Prioritize requests from multiple stakeholders, create project plans, determine level of effort, and maintain milestones

What’s Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience working in analytics, research, business intelligence or IT

  • High proficiency in Python/PySpark, Alteryx and SQL for data manipulation and translation

  • Programming SQL in a cloud-based distributed data environment

  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools: Domo or Datorama

  • Familiarity with APIs, RSS feeds and web services

  • Experience in digital marketing/advertising and automotive industry

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline.
