In this position:

The Consulting Architect, Analytics Platform Architecture is responsible for overseeing the management of the technology strategy of the Analytics Platform aligned to the organization's business strategy, processes, information flow, and technology to achieve its goals. The role is responsible for overseeing the management of the enterprise architecture strategy, including models and the lower-level technical components for business capabilities, business process and information needed to achieve the GDIA business strategy. The role is required to develop strategy roadmaps in collaboration with business leaders that will address the actions that are necessary to achieve the business vision for Analytics Platforms.

What you'll do:

  • Oversees the management of the technology strategy for GDIA’s analytics platforms aligned to the business strategy, processes, information flow, and technology to achieve its goals.

  • Oversees the management of the enterprise architecture models and the lower-level technical components including business capabilities, business process and information needed to achieve business strategy.

  • Develops the technology strategic roadmap in collaboration with business leaders that will address the actions that are necessary to achieve the business vision.

  • Explores new and disruptive technologies that assist the management in identifying mega-trends in technology and business strategies in the analytics space.

  • Builds and leads a world-class software enterprise architecture team to maintain leading-edge solution architecture.

  • Serves as a communication link between the team and management to cascade goals and strategy downwards.

  • Be an expert and champion for enterprise architecture, educating and influencing partners on the benefits, approaches, and strategies of enterprise architecture.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry and technical developments to grow core technical skills and proficiencies.

  • Works closely with GDIA to cultivate new analytics platform technology opportunities.

  • Lead and reinforce the architecture engagement between the architecture and GDIA product teams.

  • Partners with product teams to ensure the delivery model is aligned to overall analytics strategy and patterns.

You'll have:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10 Years of Experience

  • Must be able to think and act strategically, without constraints, and be able to operationalize.

  • Strong demonstrated competencies across the entire Business landscape.

  • Strong demonstrated competencies working across multiple organizations including GDIA, ITO, and ET teams.

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.

  • Strong demonstrated competencies in Analytics Architecture.

  • Proven ability to work closely with management one to three levels above, both in the business and ET.

  • Technical subject matter expert in Enterprise Architecture Development.

  • In depth architecture expertise across all aspects of architecture (Business, solution, information, application, and infrastructure).

  • Experience developing architecture strategies for major areas.

  • In depth technical understanding of the Analytics domain, including tools, infrastructure, and services.

  • Strong technology and cloud architecture experience, preferred Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Big Query, and related Google Analytics technologies and services.
