Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position serves as an OPS Health Support Technician and works under the general supervision of the Operations & Managment Consultant-SES in the Dental Clinics and provides professional support and technical assistance to staff, community agencies and the general public. This position will be assigned to the Dental Program assisting the Dental Staff while they provide dental services to clients in the our Daytona beach and Orange city dental clinics . This position is based in Daytona Beach but requires travel between these work sites as needed. In t his position you will provide education to clients and assist with clincal duties to include but not limited to cleaning rooms, setting up for procedures, sterilization and some clerical duties.

This position does not require you to be a Certified Dental Assistant.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to provide instruction/education to patients in preventative dental health techniques

Qualifications:

Minimum -

Must have ability to provide instruction/education to patients in preventative dental health techniques

Must be able to work well with children

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have time management skills and the ability to work independently

Preferred -

Experience working with children

Computer knowledge (Eaglesoft, HMS)

Bi-lingual Spanish/English

Communicate effectively with people of different cultural and educational backgrounds
