We are seeking a skilled and innovative Manufacturing Engineer who can recommend improvements to the design process, develop and test tools, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in product development, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing, with a strong background in machining processes. A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering is required, and proficiency in SolidWorks is essential. The ability to manage and organize multiple projects is also necessary. Quality engineering experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Recommend improvements to the design process.
Design, develop, and test tools, machinery, and equipment.
Engage in product development.
Apply Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Utilize a strong background in machining processes.
Manage and organize multiple projects.
Take a project from concept to completion.
Integrate standards and custom designs.
Essential Skills
Experience in CNC, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Lean Manufacturing experience.
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
Forecasting and planning experience.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Ability to take a project from concept to completion.
Strong background in machining processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Quality engineering experience is a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate controlled warehouse. The facility accommodates around 150 personnel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46
