Description
We have an opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Clerk looking to join a healthcare company in Daytona Beach, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of accounts payable operations. This includes entering invoice data, maintaining organized records, and assisting with our upcoming software implementation. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Enter invoices in a precise and efficient manner
• Provide support during the software implementation phase
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable data
• Assist with matching and filing of invoices
• Ensure accurate processing of accounts payable information
• Respond promptly to any accounts payable related inquiries
• Monitor accounts payable to ensure all financial data is up-to-date
• Work closely with the team to improve accounts payable processes
• Manage a high volume of data entry tasks in a timely manner
• Contribute to the team's objectives by maintaining a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
Requirements
• Possess strong knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.
• Proficient in Data Entry with a specific focus on numeric information.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately Enter Invoices into accounting system.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with vendors and internal departments.
• Good organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
