Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Web Developer I to work remotely. This position is responsible for programming, coding, and maintaining the back-end infrastructure to optimize the website operations for the multiple websites of Woolpert and its family of companies. Responsibilities Programming, coding, and maintenance for all back-end services of anywhere from 5 to 10 websites, including custom and third-party applications. Knowledge of Wordpress and Themeco required. Custom site creation. Client site maintenance. Advanced scripting, customization, interaction capabilities. Advanced analytics/performance, data capture. URL maintenance, including multiple redirects. Prior experience with JavaScript and PHP. Experience integrating with Front-End Web Design. Ensure externally facing web presence is visible, functional, and compliant with web accessibility, IT, and federal standards. Inventory websites daily, troubleshoot, and make fixes and updates as needed. Work collaboratively with designers and writers to implement desired content improvements. Track and communicate website analytics to enable the team to gain insights to improve audience engagement. Ability to implement Hotjar and tagging to better understand customers. Additional desired functions include: Collaboratively providing insight to the websites' capabilities and opportunities. Experience with email invitations. Leadership on acquisition website maintenance and integration. Additional multimedia experience. Host management. Maintain privacy policies. Qualifications Must have a BA/BS and Two + (2) years related experience, or Six (6) years related experience. Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position. Must be able to function efficiently and consistently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle a variety of competing job tasks. Must have strong conceptual and creative abilities. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must have strong organizational skills; keen attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through; sense of urgency. Must be able to work equally well with all levels of management, clients, and employees. Must have above average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships. Resulting Physical Qualifications: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate and manipulate standard office equipment. Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, climb and/or balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
